Off to Cardiff
I’m off down to Cardiff today to be ready to teach the students at School of the Word, the ministry training course of our related churches. Find out more about it here. This is a photo of the happy bunch of students taken when I was with them last November. Let’s hope that they are looking quite as happy after I’ve finished lecturing on Worldviews and World Religions!!
I hope to have an opportunity to do some blogging while away. If not, I’ll be back next Monday.

Two great sayings come to mind…
“with unveiled faces [they] reflect the Lord’s glory”
-2 Corinthians 3:18
and
“maybe I could do that for a career.
Do what for a career?
Be professionally good looking.”
-Derek Zoolander
I’m sure that sometimes whilst lecturing you need to just pause and bask in their collective presence.
Thanks for posting,
A completely anonymous and unbiased passerby!

Trev - that’s how you keep them awake, you take their chairs away!

Chairs? You let them sit on chairs? They seem far too happy in this picture; I need to give them some more memory verses to wipe those smiles off their faces.

Hi trev, great to hear what you’re up to. No doubt you’ll be having a great time sharing you wisdom and knowledge with the students at the school of word.
Take care and stay strong in the Lord

Hello! I’m a friend of Gavin’s and I am part of NCC here in St. Louis. I’m enjoying your blog, especially the discussions on the Mosaic Law and Reconstruction/Theonomy. I look forward to seeing more about it. Terribly interesting, as is the rest of your stuff. It’s really encouraging to see a true Christian intellectual engaging the Church as well as our adressing the issues raised by being in the postmodern context that we find ourselves in. Great stuff!
