Planted by Water

We were really glad to have Terence (’T') and Beth Erlenbach with us in Huddersfield on Sunday. Great to have people who so clearly demonstrate faith and servanthood. T brought his word to us that I know God has given him such full revelation on and that has blessed the church in Cardiff and elsewhere - the word about the ‘heart of God’s house.’ What was exceptional was that he didn’t just encourage us all to serve in the church, to get stuck in and volunteer for certain tasks. He imparted something about the heart and the spirit of servanthood that would be expressed in the whole of our life and not just in church meetings or ministries! He pointed out that it was about having a giving heart attitude. Living to give. Surely that is the key quality of God’s love. He so loved the world that he gave… Jesus loves the church so much the he gave himself up for her… Live to give! Great one T! Thank you so much. And great to have good times of fellowship with Beth and T.

And yes, we also had a young man respomd to an appeal for salvation after just the first 5 mins. after the start of our worship together!! He was baptised there and then - that’s how the Bible teaches us it should be! And then at the end of the meeting he proposed to his girlfriend in front of the whole congregation! Cool! - as they say! May there be much more - salvation, baptisms…and yes, marriages too!
