I'm currently reading "Andrew Murray on Prayer"-Whitaker House, which is a compilation of several of his books. In the same vein, may I suggest "Freedom From a Self-Centered Life/Dying to Self" by William Law, and "The Power of the Spirit" by the same author. His stuff has impacted me in such a deep way, I don’t think I even understand it. I have read most of his books and have been so encouraged by his personal walk with Jesus. He was something special. Certainly there was no question that he had really pressed in to 'the deeper life' and had a firm grasp of true spirituality. One of my favourite titles is 'Working for God'. I'm not sure if there is any current author that has such a strong grasp of truth as well as an ability to write such devotional and inspirational material.
